Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Contract Management

  • Manage the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for indirect categories: Marketing, People team services, Facilities, SaaS/IT subscriptions, and Security.

  • Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs with support from the Legal team.

  • Monitor and track contract renewals, ensuring timely renegotiations and alignment with business needs.

  • Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate suppliers, and align purchasing with business priorities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; conduct regular reviews to assess performance, service quality, and risk.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between vendors and internal teams for escalation and issue resolution.

Cost & Process Optimization

  • Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Implement procurement best practices, including spend tracking, vendor scorecards, and contract lifecycle management.

  • Support budget planning and forecasting for indirect spend categories.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Security to mitigate supplier and contractual risks.

  • Drive consistency in procurement processes and governance across business functions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management, preferably in indirect categories.

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS/software procurement, marketing services, HR/People services, facilities, and security contracts.

  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to balance cost, quality, and risk considerations.

  • Familiarity with contract law and experience working with Legal teams on commercial agreements.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, or contract management software preferred.

We understand that everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences and that not everyone will meet all of the requirements listed above. If you’re passionate about self-driving cars and think you have what it takes to make a positive impact on the world, we encourage you to apply.
